ENS is the governance token of Ethereum Name Service, a decentralized protocol that allows users to create a universal nickname for their public addresses and decentralized websites on Ethereum. ENS holders can vote for proposals to influence the protocol’s future development on the ENS DAO (decentralized autonomous organization).
ENS has a circulating supply of around 22 million tokens out of a total of 100 million, with a price at $22.41 on January 20, 2022.
